Healthcare Workers' Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) Kit
with rechargeable Li+ion battery.
Made in collaboration with Whirlpool, Dow and Reynolds for the production of personal protective gear (PPE) to combat the pandemic
This PAPR kit is for biological particulate matter, viruses, bacterial, mold spores and dusts.
It uses a HEPA filter and is not for smoke, chemical or radiological use.
(may be used for fiberglass installation, sanding floors and woodwork, property cleanouts)
The kit you will receive will be

The kit will show an expiry date of Nov2020, It is good way beyond the date as these were manufactured about 6 months prior and unused.  The rechargeable battery is rated 8 hour run time on a full charge.  A face shield is included,
NO HOOD included
>> the hood is similar to a clear trash can liner and is meant to be disposable throughout ones' shift as needed.

can also be used to charge a cellphone, laptop or anything that runs on 9-12vDC and USB)
Filter NOTE:
The supplier of these units have discontinued their production and as a consequence, you may not be able to find the replacement filter for this unit.

.  You have a couple of options:
1)
To prolong the life of your filter you can cut a small piece of cloth like a towel or cotton T-shirt material over filter between the opening, then discard it after each use
OR
2)
Check with a hardware store, as many small engine tools use a similar filter and so does a vacuum cleaner supplier.
(also those filters may not be NIOSH approved for biological protection)
The battery unit in this is estimated to be good for 10+ years starting in 2020.  As time progress the purchase price of these units will be lessened about a couple dollars each passing month.
