This
16 year old patch
is part of the signature series of collectible patches issued by The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art located in Millersburg, Pennsylvania.
Each year a different species of wildlife is featured in a painting and a patch is issued commemorating the painting and the Ned Smith Center.
This patch is different from that and the normal yearly patch issued.
This patch is the 10 Year Anniversary Patch commemorating the center’s opening on October 09, 2004.
At that time the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art was officially open to the public.
At the official opening time the center included the gallery, center office, classrooms, and a gift shop offering many beautiful treasurers for center visitors.
Since the center’s opening, other facilities have been added to the center complex.
The patch is guaranteed to be an original and not duplication as the patch was acquired directly from the art center.
This 6” patch features a beautiful outdoor scene of a herd of Elk in a field setting.
In the background can be seen a beautiful mountain and forested woodland scene.
All of setting adds to the beauty of the patch commemorating the 10 year anniversary of the center!
Above the beautiful elk scene in the tan step down banner arrangement in white lettering is the Center’s name, “

”.
Below the elk scene, once again in white lettering is the location of the Center “

.” Directly below the elk scene in black lettering is the wording “
Ned Smith
” for whom the art center was built and dedicated to.
To the left and right of this lettering still in the white lettering is the years this patch commemorates

1996
” and

2005
”.
Surrounding all of this is a well-sewn border of gold.
The patch is 6” in diameter and contains 10 very vivid colors and 3 different size / styles of lettering.
If you are a collector of patches, you know the more color in the patch the more valuable the patch is.
This patch is no exception to this rule!
The patch we are selling in this eBay Listing and the patch you will receive are new / unused and have not been sewn on any garment, material or item.
The patch you will receive will be in excellent condition and the same as the one seen in the photographs. We do use stock photographs in our listing ads which means the patch you will receive may or may not vary slightly in color or patch detail.
The patch you receive will be an original, new patch but some patches in the production run do vary slightly from patch to patch.

If you are a collector of the Pa Game Commission's Working Together For Wildlife Patches, you may want to consider collecting the Ned Smith Patches also.  They are as beautiful as the Pa Game Commission Patches and many do featured similar wildlife in similar settings and scenes.
This is one such patch as it is similar in content to the 1987 Working Together For Wildlife Elk Patch.
As such, it would make a great addition to your collection.
Also of noteworthy importance is because this is a 10 year anniversary commemorative patch, it is sure to increase in value over time.

Uninsured first class shipping within the United States of America will be $ 3.49.
The shipping charge is a bit higher for this 6" patch due to the extra weight of the patch and a different shipping mailer being used to send the patch to you.

The $ 2.99 shipping and handling charge previously mentioned is for shipping within the United States of America only.
To ship your item to you we will place the item in a plastic bag and then into a protective cardboard mailer.
After this the cardboard mailer will either be wrapped using bubble wrap or the cardboard mailer will be placed into a protective bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you.
Which packing method used will depend on the particular item you have won from us.
The shipping and handling charge will include the packing method described in the paragraph above and a shipping label produced using our business PayPal Account.
In doing so, it will include delivery confirmation along with barcode addressing.
