The NORTH 5500 series half-face piece respirator is a comfortable, low-profile design with cradle suspension. Facepiece made of extremely soft non-allergenic thermoplastic elastomer for comfort and fit . Uses threaded, dual cartridges, sold separately. All parts are replaceable, extending the useful life of the respirator. The 5500 Series incorporates the comfortable and efficient design of the popular 7700 series half mask with the low cost and convenience of a disposable.
Economical option that still provides many of the same features found in premium masks.
Upper headstraps have minimum give to provide secure support.
Lower headstraps stretch and move with the worker for more comfort without pulling on the facepiece.
Various thickness in sealing area for improved comfort and support - more support around the chin area and more flexibility on the nose bridge.
Wide, contoured sealing area for great fit.
Converts to PAPR or supplied air respirator.

he North by Honeywell 7580P100 N Series filter is a replacement filter and it is compatible with respirator models 5400, 5500, 7600 and 7700. It provides respiratory protection against both oil and non-oil based particulates in the air and has a minimum efficiency of 99.97%. The filter is NIOSH compliant and is sold in a package of 2 replacement filters.
