The foam bottom of the foot pedal is falling apart so I will cover it with cling wrap. The following tests were done (without cassette):
Powers on. Machine responded to all buttons (indicated by sounds of the internals). Foot pedal works. Rewind/reverse caused time to run on the screen. Telephone button caused a beep.
